Can you believe there are two Labor Day Parades in New York? I never knew that, and this piece of information really threw me off. I was about to give an earful to a news writer, when I realized she was not speaking about the real parade. She was referring to the fake one. Phew, that was a close one!

Do you really want to help Haiti?

Welcome to Help Haiti! This is a place where concerned souls, Haitians and Foreigners alike, will be able to find ways and sometimes means to do some good to our precious little island. We intend, with your help, to build a tremendous list of Organizations and Individuals who are unselfishly lending a hand to the people of Haiti.

Let’s begin by performing some advanced web searches in order to find more of those unknown organizations, and post the results here. Consequently, a valuable resource will be made available to anyone with a sincere desire to help Haiti. (No more excuses!)

Symmetry is one of the most perfect qualities. A symmetrical shape is about perfect. We have symmetry when the distances on both sides of an axis are equal. Balance is a whole other animal.

Most graphic designers on the web (professional and wannabe alike) are having a field day putting down Text Only Designs as if they were of no value whatsoever. There is so much one can do with type! I could list quite a few areas of use and design styles that favor Simple Text Designs. But I will only list one area of use and one design style, namely the Sign Industry and the Minimalist School of Design.

There seems to be an increasing interest in Original and Vintage Movie Posters. Some of them are priceless since they never printed a lot of them. These posters used to travel from one movie house to another all over a particular State. These days, a Near Mint poster can command a pretty high price.
